Our story

Lauren has always had a love for cooking, creating, and entertaining. She hadn’t thought of turning those passions into a business until she started a neighborhood cupcake stand with her five-year-old daughter, Lucy. This was no ordinary cupcake stand. Custom A-frame signs, fun umbrellas, and a retro cooler had neighbors lining up for the gourmet treats. This little venture eventually morphed into Bakes and Boards, where cupcakes remain at the core of the business.
